Credit Card and PayPal Payment Policies and Charges
Please Note: As the exclusive Australian Distributor of the majority of products presented on our website shop, we strive to offer the most competitive prices. However, due to bank fees for credit card charges we are regrettably forced to pass these fees on. As such when you purchase by Credit Cards or PayPal (Visa, MasterCard or PayPal) a 1.3% financial fee will be added to your purchase price. If you wish to avoid the financial fee you may pay by direct deposit by contacting KSQ and requesting an invoice showing your purchase details total amount and our Bank BSB and Account details.
Credit card numbers provided through our e-commerce facility are processed immediately in an encrypted form (using SSL encryption) over a secure link and are not stored permanently. This provides a high level of security protection for our customers. The secure link is provided by our e-commerce service provider Eway and the transaction is processed by Westpac Bank, one of Australia’s largest banks. More information about the system is available from the Eway website at www.eway.com.au
The Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape browsers have built-in security mechanisms to ensure that users do not accidentally submit personal information over an insecure link. If a user tries to submit information to an unsecured site, the browsers will, by default, show a warning. In contrast, if a user submits credit card or other information to a site with a valid Server ID and an SSL connection, the warning does not appear and the secure connection is seamless.
Users of the KSQ Online Web site can be sure that online transactions with our site are secure by looking for the following signs:
The URL in the browser window displays “https” at the beginning of a transaction instead of http. In Internet Explorer (IE), a padlock icon appears at the end of the Internet address window. IE users can check the Web site’s encryption level by following these steps: right-click on the Web site’s page and select Properties, then click the Certificates button. In the Fields box, select “Encryption type” – the Details box shows you the level of encryption.
Security Code If you are purchasing by credit card over the phone and, as further protection to your card security, KSQ will request your card’s CVV or card verification number when making the purchase. The CVV code is the small code located on the back of your card on the signature bar. Generally the last 3 digits of the code are required. This is to prevent fraudulent purchases from someone who has managed to get your name; card number and expiration date from being able to make purchases using your card.
