Hitchsafe tow ball vault is of robust steel construction featuring a secure drawer locked by a dual bolt mechanism and opened only via a 4-wheel combination lock. No keys required and NO tools to install or remove. Up to 10,000 possible Combinations. Chrome plated steel hitch pins lock from the inside of your tow hitch receiver and can only be removed when the comb ination drawer is removed. Quick easy install and remove when hitch is needed for tow ball. Hitchasfe utilises the receiver and keeps it protected when not in use. The robust and attractive dust cover serves to protect the Hitchsafe and also conceals it from being conspicuous. Supplied with rubber spacers to ensure a snug fit against hitch receiver and resistant to dust and grime.

IMPORTANT NOTICE - PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING!
Some Hitch type receivers vary in design between original car manufacturers and after market products. Before ordering your Hitchsafe
check for the following
Q1. Does your Hitch Bar receiver have a mimimum 50mm 'square' hole?
A. If the internal dimensions are less than 50mm the Hitchsafe will not fit your receiver.
Q2. Does your Hitch receiver have rounded corners not 'square' corners?
A. You may need to lightly file the corners down on the HitchSafe to enable it to slide into your receiver.
Q3. Is the the thickness of your Hitchsafe receiver (square hole) in excess of 5mm thickness?
A. If the 50mm hitch receiver material thickness is in excess on 5mm you should purchase the optional Hitchsafe Long Locking Pins as a precaution. Some hitch bar receivers are manufactured from cast steel and have a much thicker wall than after market models.
Q4. Is the measurement from the very front of your Hitch receiver to the dead centre of the locking pin holes in your receiver over 70mm?
A. If the above measurement is greater than 70mm the Hitchsafe will not align with your receiver holes. However, if it is under 70mm there are spacers supplied with the Hitchsafe to take up to 30mm difference.
